Shailes has over 12 years of experience in indirect tax including 2 years in Big 4 accounting firm. He has handled large clientele and varied indirect tax related compliance, advisory and litigation support services. He has helped clients in setting up their units EOU/SEZ, Converting DTA units into EOU, obtaining various registrations, structuring their business, reviewing their compliances and advising on various day-to-day related indirect tax matters.

Shailes was keenly involved in conducting impact analysis under GST for various clients (especially companies engaged in manufacturing Pharmaceutical products) and hand-holding them from GST perspective. Shailes is also part of train the trainers program on GST, an initiative of ICAI.
